ABOUT DR. MINTZ

Michael Mintz, Psy.D., is a bilingual psychologist (English/Spanish) specializing in neuropsychological and forensic assessment. Dr. Mintz has been a licensed psychologist since 2011. Over the past decade, he has administered hundreds of neuropsychological and forensic evaluations, and he has testified as an expert witness on dozens of occasions.

Dr. Mintz has worked with numerous AmLaw 200 law firms, the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (DHHS), and many other attorneys and nonprofit organizations.

Dr. Mintz is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences of George Washington University's School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He serves as the associate director of the Child Development Program of Children's National Hospital. He is also an affiliate faculty member of the Child Health Advocacy Institute of Children's National Hospital (CHAI), primarily advocating for increased access to mental health services in immigrant communities.

Dr. Mintz is a graduate of the University of Michigan (Bachelor of Arts) and George Washington University (Doctorate in Clinical Psychology).
